Natural Straightening Without Frizz
Taninoplasty, or tannin smoothing, relaxes and smooths the hair without making it stiff. Plant-derived tannins bond with the hair fiber to strengthen and soften it, while preserving its natural movement. Its formaldehyde-free formula makes it a hair-friendly smoothing treatment.
The Origin
Where Does Tanninoplasty Come From?
Tanninoplasty was born in Brazil, where the Salvatore company developed the concept and trademarked the name. The term combines tannin, a plant polyphenol often derived from grapes, and the Greek suffix “-plasty,” meaning to shape. The choice of ingredient is no accident: for centuries, tannins have been used to treat leather, thanks to their natural affinity with proteins. And hair itself is made of a protein: keratin.
The right smoothing treatment is determined during a consultation.
