Hair color: where chemistry meets art
Hair color is as much chemistry as it is art. At Au 2e, our team masters color down to the finest nuance, whether it's a subtle tint or a full color, to reveal the shade that truly suits you.
The right color comes down to the colorist's eye: an expertise no product can replace.
Our hair color
We work mainly with Keune, a brand from the Netherlands made to the highest European standards. Its lines include permanent color, ammonia-free and vegan color, toners, glosses and more.
Before the brush
Which hair color is right for me?
The right color isn't chosen from a swatch book: it's built around you. Your skin tone, eye color, natural base and the time you want to spend on upkeep. Your colorist considers all of this before preparing a single formula.

Frequently asked questions
Every color is custom-made, and its price follows the same logic. Your hair's length and density and the chosen technique shape the final cost. Our price list gives you a first idea. Your colorist then confirms the price during your consultation, before starting.
Permanent color doesn't wash out, but regrowth shows after a few weeks, especially against a contrasting base. Toners and glosses gradually fade with each shampoo. We'll decide together how often you should come in, based on your hair and the shade you choose.
Yes. Gray hair is often more resistant to color and needs a tailored formula. The So Pure Natural Balance Color line, for example, covers it completely, without ammonia. If you prefer a softer effect, balayage or a gloss can blend the gray instead of hiding it.
Permanent color changes the color of the hair for the long term and covers gray. A demi-permanent gloss deposits tone on the surface: it revives, warms or cools a shade, then gently fades. The two are often combined, and the gloss maintains shine between color appointments.
A shampoo for color-treated hair, lukewarm rather than hot water, and protection from heat and sun make a real difference. An in-salon hair treatment between visits also helps preserve shine. Your colorist will recommend the routine that suits your shade.
